A thigh injury could reportedly impact a possible permanent move from Manchester United for goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
The England man has been out of action since suffering a thigh tear in the closing stages of the 2-0 win over Leicester City back in January. It was initially thought that the player would be out for four to six weeks, but he remains on the sidelines.
After the injury, Forest moved to bring in reinforcements, signing Keylor Navas on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day in January. The experienced stopper has been first choice for the side since arriving, pulling off a number of impressive saves.

Steve Cooper may have been expecting a selection headache when Henderson was back fit, but it seems that it now won't be the case. It was reported this weekend that the goalkeeper was set to miss the remainder of the season with the injury.
The Manchester Evening News now report that the 26-year-old is set to undergo an operation on the injury, something that will keep him out until August. The timeframe for recovery means he may have played his final game for Forest.
Henderson joined the club on loan from Manchester United back in the summer. His future at Old Trafford is uncertain due to playing time. David de Gea looks set to sign a new contract, reducing Henderson’s chance of becoming first choice at Old Trafford.
It therefore made another summer move likely, but that could now be put in doubt. With the goalkeeper out until August with injury, he could face a race against time to complete a move with the window closing at the start of September.
The goalkeeper will also have to prove his fitness with any new club, having not taken part in pre-season due to his recovery from injury.
