A man has died after falling from a height in the west end of Edinburgh on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the Dean Bridge area near the city centre around 1:40pm following reports of a man having fallen. Police Scotland have since confirmed a 58-year-old male was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

The bridge was temporarily closed to two-way traffic, with the pavement either side also taped off. Several Lothian Bus services were also diverted away from the scene before it re-opened less than an hour later.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Monday, 6 February, police were called to a report that a man had fallen from Dean Bridge, Edinburgh.
“The 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
