Three men who exploited vulnerable people in Bristol in a bid to sell Class A drugs have been jailed. The men took over a flat in Edward Street, St George, to use as a drugs base - threatening to harm the resident's dog if he declined access.
And Bristol Crown Court heard one of the men brought two 14-year-old girls from London with a view to using a flat in Redcliffe for a similar enterprise. The three men, all aged in their early 20s, pleaded guilty to a list of charges between them.
Their names and the charges they were each convicted of are outlined below:

Darnell Wright, 20, of London Road, Bedford
1. Being concerned in supplying a controlled drug of Class A another (Crack Cocaine) between 14.04.2021 and 04.06.2021
2. Being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of Class A (Crack Cocaine) between 15.04.2021 and 04.06.2021- lie on file 22.08.2022
3. Arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation between 15.02.2022 and 23.02.2022
4. Arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation between 15.02.2022 and 23.02.2022
5. Being concerned in supplying a controlled drug of Class A to another (Diamorphine) between 20.12.2021 and 11.03.2022
6. Being concerned in supplying a controlled drug of Class A to another (Cocaine) between 20.12.2021 and 11.03.2022
Tyrese Douglas, 22, of no fixed address
1. Concerned in the supply of a Class A drug (Crack Cocaine) between 20.12.2021 and 10.03.2022
2. Concerned in the supply of a Class A drug (Diamorphine) between 20.12.2021 and 10.03.2022
3. Arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation between 15.02.2022 and 23.02.2022
4. Arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation between 15.02.2022 and 23.02.2022
Kamar Morgan, 22, of Stoke Newington Church Street, London
1. Concerned in the supply of a Class A drug (Crack Cocaine) between 20.12.2021 and 10.03.2022
2. Concerned in the supply of a Class A drug (Diamorphine) between 20.12.2021 and 10.03.2022
Judge Julian Lambert jailed Wright for nine years, Douglas for five-and-a-half years and Morgan for three-and-a-half years. Edward Hetherington, prosecuting, said police raided a flat in Edward Street, St George, and found drugs and drug paraphernalia and defendants' DNA.
Police also established that Wright collected two girls aged 14 in London and took them to a flat in Redcliffe from where drugs were recovered, the court heard yesterday (Monday, October 31).
Georgia Luscombe, defending Wright, said her client had tried to provide a life for himself and his girlfriend, who recognised her partner had made mistakes which would have a long-lasting effect. Barry White, defending Douglas, described his client as a "small cog in a big operation" originally drawn to criminal activity for a sense of belonging.
Elizabeth Lambert, defending Morgan, said: "He got involved in drug dealing. He does genuinely want to rehabilitate himself, he wants to make amends and make his family proud of him."
