Dealer who supplied crack cocaine and heroin caught in police raid

A man has been charged with the supply of crack cocaine and heroin folllowing a County Lines drugs bust in Wirral.

On Monday, October 10, officers carried out a warrant at an address in Wright Street, Wallasey, in connection with a suspected County Line between Merseyside and Cheshire. A man was arrested at the scene and a large quantity of cash was recovered.

Jordan Edge, 24, has now been charged with the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. The raid came as part of Project Medusa, Merseyside Police's ongoing project to tackle suspected County Lines drug supply and the criminal exploitation of vulnerable people.

Edge appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court yesterday (Tuesday,October 11), where he pleaded guilty to the charge. He will be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, November 8.
