Dealer 'relieved' to be arrested after cocaine found inside can of Fanta

Cocaine was found carefully hidden inside what appeared to be a can of Fanta Orange which had a screw-top. Police made the discovery after stopping Caylum Bowman in a car in Peafield Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, on May 18 last year.

The cocaine was valued at between £180 to £450, Nottingham Crown Court heard on Tuesday (September 13). Police analysed phone messages and found them consistent with Bowman's involvement in supplying controlled drugs.

He pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply before magistrates and was sent to the crown court for sentencing, where he received two years in prison, suspended for two years. He was handed a 12-month community order and 15 rehabilitation activity days.
