A drug dealer who ran a lucrative county lines operation between Aberdeen and Liverpool has been jailed.
Paul Boardman, 35, was caught in June 2021 after officers discovered heroin worth £12,000 buried in woods between Balgownie Drive and Kettocks Mill Road in Aberdeen. In addition, £50,000 in cash was also seized as part of the investigation.
Boardman pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug, and was jailed for six years at the High Court in Aberdeen.

Detective Inspector Rob Sim, from Police Scotland's North East Division, said: "We believe Boardman had a lead role in orchestrating drug supply in Aberdeen. He thought he could operate his illegal activities with no consequences, however, his conviction and sentencing demonstrates no-one is above the law.
“If anyone has any concerns regarding drug dealing please report it to us. We are well aware of the damage drugs cause in our local communities and by working together we can remove them from our streets.”
