A TikTok star who advocates for a more accessible world for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, has praised the staff at Glasgow's Hampden Park as she attended the Coldplay concert on Tuesday.
Emma, who is @emmasontiktok on the platform, has garnered a following of 18,000 people on TikTok through her videos discussing British Sign Language and her journey with deaf mum and dad. Emma's content ranges from Q&As discussing what it's like using sign language on the daily, to teaching the public simple phrases to communicate with those who are hearing-impaired.
This time, Emma posted a wholesome vlog-style video of the whole family travelling up to Glasgow to watch Coldplay perform live at Hampden Park. In the video, Emma's mum is given a subpac vest which brings the music from the stage and creates vibrations that can be felt throughout the video.

In the caption, Emma said: "The accessibility at #MusicOfTheSpheres for my Deaf mama was 10/10. We will never forget this experience. thank you @coldplay for being the best."
The video begins by Emma asking in BSL who they were going to see, as her mum responds, "Coldplay!". The family cross the border from Manchester into Scotland and arrive at Hampden Park. Emma showed the subpac being put on her mum, and the interpreters who signed the entire concert for the accessibility area at the show.
Emma said in the video: "The staff were so lovely, signing to my mama when she arrived and fitted her subpac. The subpac was synced to the instruments and she could feel the vibrations as the music played!"
