Marvel Studios' latest blockbuster, 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' has shattered records in its first 10 days in theaters. The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, excluding inflation.

Over the weekend, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' continued its box office dominance, raking in an impressive $97 million. This brings its total earnings to $395.6 million in just two weeks, surpassing the previous record-holder, 'The Passion of the Christ,' which held the title for 20 years with $370 million domestically.

Internationally, the film has also been a massive success, grossing a total of $824.1 million worldwide. This figure already exceeds the combined global earnings of the first two 'Deadpool' films, with the original making $782.6 million and the sequel bringing in $734.5 million.

Meanwhile, other films struggled to compete with the success of 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' M. Night Shyamalan's latest thriller, 'Trap,' opened to a modest $15.6 million at 3,181 theaters. Despite a lower-than-usual critical reception and a C+ CinemaScore from audiences, the film's $35 million budget may pose challenges for profitability.

Additionally, the live-action adaptation of the beloved children's book 'Harold and the Purple Crayon' failed to make a significant impact at the box office, debuting with just $6 million. While critics were unimpressed with the film, audiences gave it a more favorable A- CinemaScore.

Overall, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' continues to dominate the box office, setting new records and solidifying its place as a powerhouse in the world of cinema.
