A huge tornado ripped through suburban areas in Indiana, damaging homes and other buildings.
The tornado storm made its way across the state, and its path of destruction has left at least one dead.
A video shows the twister picking up debris as it makes its way through Greenwood, Ind., on June 25.
The Greenwood Fire Department said on Facebook: “Please stay clear of areas affected by this evening’s weather as many areas around Johnson County have tornado damage.
“Emergency and Utility crews are working to secure any areas with damage.
“Drive with caution and plan alternate routes as some roads may be closed.
“Do Not drive around any Road Closed signs or road barricades.”
The Red Cross has made itself available to communities affected by the storm after at least 16,000 homes were left without power.
