A law enforcement contributor and retired FBI agent have highlighted the significance of the deadly exploding pager attack in Lebanon, suggesting a major breach in Hezbollah's communications network. The contributor emphasized the complexity and covert nature of the operation, indicating a substantial intelligence breach within Hezbollah's operations.

The attack, which resulted in at least 12 fatalities and 2,800 injuries, has not only disrupted Hezbollah's communications but has also instilled fear and uncertainty among the Lebanese population. People are now questioning the security of their devices and their safety within their own homes.

The contributor explained that executing such an attack required prior intelligence to identify Hezbollah's purchase of a large number of pagers and to target them without alerting the pager company. This joint operation between Israel's Mossad intelligence service and the military has raised concerns and speculation, although Israel has refrained from making any public statements regarding the explosions.
