A tragic bus accident in southeastern Pakistan has claimed the lives of at least seven people, with several others injured. The incident took place near Quetta, the capital of Balochistan Province, where a bus carrying wedding guests plunged into a ravine. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

According to reports, the victims' bodies and the injured individuals were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Some of the injured passengers are said to be in critical condition, highlighting the severity of the accident.

This unfortunate event sheds light on the challenges faced on Pakistan's roadways, where poor maintenance and disregard for traffic laws contribute to frequent accidents. In August alone, three separate bus crashes resulted in the loss of 60 lives across the country.

At least 7 people died, and several others were injured.

Two of the fatal bus accidents occurred within Pakistan, one in Balochistan and the other in Punjab province. Negligence on the part of the drivers was cited as the cause of both incidents, emphasizing the importance of road safety measures.

Additionally, a third bus crash in Iran claimed the lives of 28 Pakistani pilgrims who were en route to Iraq. The series of tragic events serve as a stark reminder of the risks associated with road travel, particularly in regions where safety standards may be lacking.
