Deadline for 'coveted' Lincolnshire business awards approaching

Time is running out to enter the coveted LincolnshireLive Business Awards for 2022.

Businesses have a little under two weeks to be in the running for up to three of 12 categories on offer and still have the chance to be involved with the awards and raise their profile even more as a sponsor.

In association with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, LincolnshireLive is inviting business leaders to put their names forward for the competition which includes categories recognising both individual efforts and the achievements of teams or whole companies.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Sunday August 28, and here is all the information you need to successfully get your entry in.

There are 12 categories in all, aimed at recognising talent in a number of areas, from individual brilliance in business, to a firm's reputation and success both nationally and internationally.

The awards ceremony at which winners are announced has long been a highlight of the Lincolnshire business calendar, attracting the most talented and ambitious entrepreneurs from the region.

This year the ceremony will take place at a special black tie dinner at Lincolnshire Showground on October 20.

As well as the potential to win some of the prizes on offer, entry into the awards provides many benefits to a company. Testimonials from previous entrants show that just being a part of the awards is a boost to recruitment and retention and raises the profile of a company.

Simon Beardsley, chief executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: "By entering these awards, you don’t just stand a chance to take home a coveted trophy on the night, you will also receive many marketing opportunities, helping you to be seen by a huge audience.

"Not only does winning an award turn the spotlight on your business and all the great things that you do, it's also a chance to come together, make those all-important new connections and strengthen our sense of community – as we are all on the road to recovery.

"We encourage every business in the county to take a look at the categories and enter those that are most relevant. We look forward to seeing you on October 20."
