Behaviour Interactive is ringing in scary season with Haunted by Daylight, the annual Dead by Daylight Halloween event, adding a brand-new Tome, new charms, and more to the horror game. The Dead by Daylight Halloween festivities start Oct. 11, 2022, and run through Nov. 3, 2022, giving you a short while after Fright Day itself to join in and see everything Behaviour has to offer, including a Dead by Daylight free weekend event.
From Oct. 11, 2022, players can access a special Collections shop themed around the Halloween event, following the recent edition of Resident Evil-themed characters and cosmetics. The next day, Behavior will add Tome 13: Malevolence and a slew of new memories focused on Ghost Face’s past – and the unfortunate souls who got in his way – with the survivor Mikaela weaving in and out of the story at times.
A new batch of charms and cosmetics accompanies the tome, including outfits and some exclusive masks for Ghost Face. These can be earned by playing through the Tome events and memories.
On Oct. 13, 2022, the Fog descends once more, obscuring the surroundings and making it harder to find where you’re going. On the bright side, it also gives Survivors an extra hand in staying one step ahead of their vicious foe.
“The Fog turns into a twisted playground for Horror fan favorite Ghost Face, and we’re happy to include him in our Halloween festivities,” Dave Richard, Dead by Daylight’s creative director said in a press release. “Ghost Face is a particularly terrifying enemy – being able to stalk his prey – and dedicated to striking Survivors down before they know what hits them and to have him as part of the Rift is a treat!”
And from Oct. 27, 2022, through Nov. 1, 2022, you can play Dead by Daylight and the Haunted by Daylight event for absolutely free.
