DC Police Clarify: Not MPD Helicopter Involved In Incident

Authorities have confirmed that the incident involving a plane crash at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) did not involve a Metropolitan Police Department helicopter. The DC Police clarified that the helicopter belonging to the MPD was not part of the incident and is currently assisting in the multi-agency response.

Senator Jerry Moran shared on X that a plane inbound from Kansas was involved in the crash at DCA. He mentioned being in contact with authorities and requested prayers for all those involved in the incident.
