The Miami Dolphins are set to play in their first regular season game under new head coach Mike McDaniel, as they’re hosting the New England Patriots in Week 1.
For the matchup, the Dolphins have listed seven players as inactive, including defensive back Eric Rowe.
Joining Rowe on this list are cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, wide receiver Erik Ezukanma, quarterback Skylar Thompson, running back Salvon Ahmed, tight end Tanner Conner and linebacker Trey Flowers.
Rowe has been dealing with a pectoral injury and had a chance to play, but Miami has been cautious with injuries this offseason, so it’s no surprise they’re giving him some time to get right.
In his place could be undrafted rookie Verone McKinley III, who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.
