Dawn Ward has broken her social media silence, after being cleared of racially abusing two Jewish men and drugs possession.
The reality TV star, 48, took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to reply to fans messaging her about the verdict - just hours after she broke down in tears in court and thanked the jury who acquitted her of two counts of racially aggravated harassment and one count of possession of cocaine today.
"Well done @dawnward4 It can’t have been an easy last few weeks but the right result in the end," one message to the star read on the micro-blogging site.
Quote-tweeting the tweet to her 131,400 followers, Dawn replied: "Thank you [red love-heart emojis]."
The interior designer also thanked another fan who told her she was "so pleased it’s all over for you".
Another tweet the star quote-tweeted read: "Time to move forward leave that behind you @dawnward4 The truth always wins", to which Dawn replied: "Thank goodness it does [red love-heart emojis]."
Other tweets acknowledged by the Real Housewives of Cheshire star contained messages like "So pleased for you Dawn. Just put it all behind you and enjoy yourself" and "Happy news for you @dawnward4 well done".
Dawn, who is married to ex-Premier League footballer Ashley Ward, was accused of hurling abuse at brothers Jake and Sam Jacobs at London Euston Station back in October 2019.
The Jacob brothers were said to be asking customer services why trains were delayed when the 48-year-old reality star allegedly drunkenly approached them saying: "Why do you lot always complain"
She was also said to have called the pair "Jewish c****" and said Samantha Eisner, one of the brothers' girlfriends, was a "little disease".
The mum-of-four denied the accusations and was acquitted by the jury of two counts of racially aggravated harassment and one count of possession of cocaine today.
During the trial at Inner London Crown Court, sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice, Dawn denied she was racist and said she saw "people as people".
Speaking outside court on Friday, Dawn said she was "over the moon and relieved" at the verdicts.
"It’s been three years of absolute hell. My husband has been a massive support. My legal team Lisa Judge and Mark Haslam have been incredible," she said after being cleared of the charges.
"I chose to bring it to the crown court because I was so frightened at the severity of the charge. I was very worried as it was such a serious allegation."
She continued: "I’m eternally grateful to the jury that after a week of hearing everything I felt they were so fair. We were so lucky to get a jury that thought I was telling the truth.
"I now want to go home and be with my children and get on with the rest of my life."
