The Cleveland Browns lost another starting offensive lineman this week when left tackle Dawand Jones fractured his fibula against the New Orleans Saints.
He then underwent surgery on Wednesday after being placed on Injured Reserve and took to his personal Instagram to provide an update on how it went. In his post, Jones stated, “Surgery went well shoutout to Voos thanks everybody for the text messages, prayers, and uplifting comments… I’ll be back.”

Likely needing a new left tackle and right tackle this offseason, getting a healthy and improved Jones back on the field would help the Browns plug at least one of those needs. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft, Jones had a stellar rookie season before taking a step back this season.
For now, however, Jones is set for his second surgery recovery in as many years.
