Davina McCall’s boyfriend Michael Douglas transformed The Masked Singer judge into a disco babe for the show.
The hair stylist, 47, and the presenter, 55, confirmed their relationship in the summer of 2019, with the pair knowing each other for years before they began dating.
Michael started off as Davina’s hair stylist during her Big Brother days, with the presenter trusting the hair expert as her go-to ‘therapist’ for some 20 years before they found love and announced their relationship.
But Michael is still very much involved in Davina’s hair care, having provided the ultimate 1970s glow-up for his girlfriend - who looked sensational in a sparkly hot pink jumpsuit and matching platform heels.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday night, the hairdresser revealed his hair secrets for the impressive look - which he told his followers that is ‘easy to recreate yourselves.’
He wrote: “A decades themed show tonight for @maskedsingeruk on @ itv @davinamccall is the 70s disco if you hadn’t already guessed. Easy to recreate yourselves.”
Michael revealed that products by Hair by Sam McKnight and his own brand mdlondon were the secret to Davina’s bouncy, curly locks.
The hair expert wrote: “@hairbysammcknight #savethedo to blow dry #mdlondon BLOW in Banche Green to do the heavy lifting. Curlings irons are prototypes being tested by me. They are 22mm though just so you know.
“A little old fashioned blow wave on the front section to give us an authentic 70s feel. And lots of @schwarzkopf got to be hair spray to make sure it’s not gonna drop!!!”
He also took a moment to wish Davina’s fellow judge Jonathan Ross a token of ‘luck’ in working out who each masked singer is.

It comes as the pair revealed that she and her boyfriend have taken the next step in their relationship by moving in together and creating ‘new traditions’.
The couple took the plunge by living together just before Christmas.
