Davina McCall has been living her life to the fullest and discussed how ageing has given her a 'new lease on life'.
The 54-year-old has been experiencing a 'second spring' and has been able to go out with her friends and dance until the early hours of the morning.
She has been open about the process of ageing as well the realities of going through menopause over the years.
And now, the star told woman&home : "So many of my friends are going out dancing again. I used to, maybe once a year, but now I go out a lot and get home at 2am.
"I can sleep until 10am because my kids sleep until midday, and I enjoy it."
Davina added: "It’s like being given a new lease of life. The Chinese call it the second spring and that’s a really nice concept. You don’t ever need to become old."
The star went on to explain how there has been a change in the 'expectations from society about women of a certain age'.
She said: "There is no "certain" age anymore. We can do whatever we want."
Earlier this month, the TV presenter opened up about her experience of going through menopause and compared it to 'coming off heroin'.
Davina suffered from horrendous night sweats, which she compared to battling her heroin addiction in her early 20s.

"One of the greatest things about getting clean off heroin was that I never woke up in wet sheets again. It didn’t matter how bad life got, it was never as bad as when I was taking heroin," she explained.
“It’s a soggy, sweaty prison. You’re in a constant state of either: ‘I’ve got to try and find it,’ or: ‘I’m weaning myself off it and I feel terrible.’
“When I stopped, I remember waking up in dry sheets for a week in a row and just thinking: ‘This is the best feeling in the world.’
“For me still, 30 years on, I wake up with my head on a crisp, clean, dry pillow, and it’s great."
The November issue of woman&home will be on sale from next Thursday (September 29).
