David Walliams claims he was 'forced' to crawl off the Lorraine set at the end of his appearance on the ITV show on Wednesday.
The former Little Britain star , Britain's Got Talent judge and acclaimed children's author joined host Lorraine Kelly on her early morning programme to talk about the release of his new book Spaceboy, following the success of other hit novel like Gangsta Granny, Billionaire Boy and Demon Dentist.
While David is known to often go off on tangents during interviews, it passed by without a hitch as he and Lorraine chatted about what he had going on at the moment, the dedication to his son Alfred in his latest release and plans for future books. However, there was a bizarre and unexpected end to proceedings when David, who had been sitting opposite the famous TV presenter, got up out of his chair and interrupted Lorraine to remark: "I've been told I've got to creep off now, as you've got something ese happening."

As Lorraine tried to get a word in, David dropped to the studio floor and started crawling out of shot as she protested: "You don't need to...you don't need to creep," as he replied: "I don't want to get in the way."
Looking baffled by what was going on in front of her, Lorraine looked at the camera and said: "No, that's fine," as David could be heard muttering: "I know you've got someone else coming in now, so don't worry." The host then watched David as he continued to scurry off the set on his hands and knees."
She then shouted: "Goodbye! See ya!" to which he assured her: "I won't get in the way of the camera, don't worry," prompting her to warn: "Watch you don't bang into it! Health and safety."
