A contestant on Ant and Dec's Limitless Win was left in shock on Saturday night after he received a good luck message from David Tennant. The Scots Doctor Who star recorded a special video for Troy Beaumont, who appeared on the ITV game show alongside his mum, Tracey-Jane.
As they took to the table, it was revealed that Troy was a big fan of Tennant. And before the mother and son duo tried to win themselves some cash, the hosts had a surprsie for them.
Ant said: "That's interesting you're a fan of David Tennant, Troy, because we've heard he's actually a big fan of yours take a look at this..."
Seconds later a recorded video appeared with Tennant saying: "Hello Troy, hello Tracey-Jane, so you're on Limitless Win. Well this is very exciting. Look to wish you luck I got you a good luck cake."
David then held the cake up, to show a picture of Troy printed onto the icing. He then said: "And look, look what's on it. Troy's little face. Obviously I could never tuck into Troy," before he shoves the cake into his face.
Both Troy and his mum were left in total shock, and holding their hands on their face. With bits of sponge falling out of David's mouth, he finished up by saying: "Mmmm, Troy, you're delicious. Good luck!" The studio was left in laughter as Tracey-Jane commented: "Thank you, David."
Ant and Dec's Limitless Win is game show where they as contestants a round of questions, each round they climb a cash ladder, which at the top is over £1 million.
The mother-and-son duo managed to surpass the £1million mark on their incredible climb - a feat which has never been done on a British game show.
However, despite the record-breaking surge up the ladder, Tracey-Jane and Troy failed to get the final question correct and eventually left with nothing. The killer question say them asked how many boxing titles there are. They answered six, but there are seventeen.
