David Tennant and Michael Sheen took over a historic cinema in Bo'Ness for the latest filming of Amazon production Good Omens 2.

Former Doctor Who star David and Twilight star Michael took over Hope Street and Hamilton Lane in Bo’ness to film at Scotland’s oldest purpose-built picture-house Hippodrome

The Forth Valley cinema was used for shooting scenes while the nearby McMoo’s ice cream parlour was used as a green room.

Fans got excited online as they reported seeing the two men on set and through an online fan site began watching their every move.

As the two actors were seen entering the cinema together, fans imagined the two besties were on a movie date.

One joked: "Snoggin' nae doot."

Someone else observed: "David went to buy an ice cream from across the road."

Another added: "Okay I have some lovely local knowledge, as I've been to that hippodrome but the ceiling is painted with constellations and the cinema screen is on a proper stage with red curtains, the place is just beautiful!!"
