David Seaman highlights why things will get even better for Leeds United

Leeds United are unbeaten in the Premier League after three games, and former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman says things could get even better for the Whites.

It's been an impressive start to the season from Jesse Marsch's side, who have taken seven points from their first three fixtures and sit third in the table. However, Seaman believes things will get even better for Leeds when they welcome captain Liam Cooper and striker Patrick Bamford back from injury.

Cooper was injured for much of pre-season and has missed the Whites' first three games, while Bamford was left out of the squad against his former club Chelsea after being forced off with an injury at Southampton the weekend before.

"Cooper is still out injured, Bamford is still out injured," the former England shot-stopper said on the Seaman Says Podcast. "Cooper can come back, Bamford will come back, which are big pluses for the Leeds team."

The ex-Leeds youth player was impressed by his former club's display in the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday. The Whites' high-intensity pressing caught Seaman's eye, and while he thinks the style of play is still similar to that of Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds side, he believes there is one key difference.

"When you watch them, you can still imagine Bielsa being down there on the touchline," he said.

"It's that really high-tempo pressing game, but what's happening now is that it's that little more organised, especially at the back. They seem more compact, where as before they were pushing on and teams had worked Leeds out - which is why they were getting pumped by four, five or six.

"He's certainly got them playing the Leeds way, but a lot more organised. Things are going really well. That's what Leeds needed - they needed confidence early on."
