Former England international David Seaman says a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool is far from welcome amid Leeds United's dismal run of form under Jesse Marsch.
Although Liverpool sit 12 points behind league leaders Arsenal in eighth, the Reds are unbeaten at Anfield in 29 league games (won 22, drawn 7). Furthermore, Leeds haven't tasted victory on the road against Liverpool since 2001, and head into the game fresh off the back of four straight defeats.
Leeds tumbled into the relegation zone with a 3-2 defeat against Fulham at Elland Road last Sunday and Seaman has doubts over whether Marsch will still be in the dugout when the World Cup starts in November.
"Liverpool against Leeds, and as a Leeds fan I am not looking forward to this," the former Leeds academy goalkeeper revealed on his podcast Seaman Says. "This isn't what we needed after getting beaten at home by Fulham.

"Jesse Marsch is under a lot of pressure. You could feel the crowd turning quite a lot towards the end of the game, and the 3-2 flattered Leeds a little bit I felt. It's going to be a real struggle for Leeds.
"How many games are left before the World Cup, there's still quite a few, so he might not even be there then. If a lot of these results go against us, he'll be done, and then it's time for a new manager to get more time with his players and get his ideas across when there isn't the pressure of games.
"So there will be a lot of coaching going on during the World Cup break. It might be a godsend for Leeds because the start of the season has not been brilliant. The actual start, the first few games were great, but since then I think it's only a couple of points out of seven games."
Marsch replaced Marcelo Bielsa after the Argentine was sacked after a run of four straight defeats in February. Seaman was annoyed by Marsch's celebrations after securing their Premier League status last term, and questions whether sacking Bielsa was the correct decision.
"It got to that stage where Leeds were shipping a lot of goals [under Bielsa]," Seaman said. "But as much as they were losing four or five-nil, they were still getting other weird results, they were still winning games, whereas now we scraped avoiding relegation last year.
"At one stage we were done, on the last day of the season, we were down, so it went right down to the wire. So I'm still not fully convinced if I'm honest. I was really surprised by his [Marsch's] celebration at the end of the season, when he went on the pitch and he was falling down.
"It annoyed me a little bit, and I don't get easily annoyed."
