Sky Sports reporter Darmesh Sheth says David Moyes' history with West Ham United may have kept him his job following a poor start to the season.
The Hammers picked up just their second win of the Premier League campaign on Saturday, a 2-0 victory over Wolves, to take them out of the relegation zone and ease some of the pressure on the Scot.
Prior to the fixture at the London Stadium, West Ham had lost five of their opening seven games and were 18th in the league having enjoyed a brilliant 2021/22 campaign that saw them finish seventh in the table and reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

Speculation of Moyes' job being in danger was virtually non-existent and various pundits have come out in support of the former Manchester United boss, saying he deserves time to turn things around in east London. And part of the reason Moyes will be given time is his 'history' at the club according to Sky Sports' Sheth.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Sheth said: “Look, I don’t run football clubs, and we’ve seen funnier things happen when you don’t expect managers to lose their jobs, and they do. But it just feels a little bit different at West Ham United given the history of David Moyes at that club.”
West Ham and Moyes travel to Belgium to take on RSC Anderlecht in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday, looking to make it three wins out of three in the group.
