David Moyes provides injury updates on Michail Antonio and Vladimir Coufal ahead of AZ Alkmaar

West Ham United manager David Moyes has confirmed that striker Michail Antonio and right-back Vladimir Coufal have both travelled to Alkmaar for Thursday’s Europa Conference League semi-final second leg amid recent injury issues.

West Ham’s top scorer this season, Antonio, missed Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Brentford after sustaining a calf issue six days ago at the London Stadium in the 2-1 first leg win against AZ Alkmaar.

Coufal meanwhile has missed the last three matches with a hamstring injury sustained in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League a fortnight ago.

Speaking on the duo, Moyes has said that both have travelled with the squad and are in contention to feature against the Cheesment.

“Micky has travelled, so has Vladimir,” Moyes told football.london.

“They are both doing well so hopefully they will both have a chance of playing. Everything else seems OK at the moment so hopefully we are in the clear.”

With no fresh concerns, if both return, striker Gianluca Scamacca would be West Ham’s only current injury concern. On Tuesday, he was pictured back at the club’s training ground on social media.
