David Moyes has praised Angelo Ogbonna following his return to the West Ham United team this season.
Ogbonna suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament last November which ended his season and is only now getting back to full fitness after starting this season the bench.
The 34-year-old has started and finished four of the Hammers' last five games and manager Moyes made sure to highlight the work the Italian has done to in his recovery from injury.

"I think we’ve started to," Moyes replied when asked if he was seeing the Ogbonna from last season pre-injury. "Angelo did his cruciate at the age of 34 and it’s not an easy thing to come back from.
"He deserves a lot of credit for getting himself back and getting in shape. [Nayef] Aguerd has helped a lot as well, had an incredible tackle in the second-half (at Newcastle United( maybe to bail us out of a difficult situation so there were a lot of positives to take from the game."
Ogbonna's contract expires in the summer with rumours of a return to Italy at the end of the season having left Juventus in 2015 to join the Hammers in the Premier League.
