David Moyes was left furious at the full-time whistle of West Ham United's Premier League defeat by Liverpool after feeling his side were denied a clear penalty.
The Reds fought back from being one goal down, scoring efforts of their own through Cody Gakpo and Joel Matip to snatch all three points in the capital. It means Jurgen Klopp's side have kept alive their faint Champions League hopes with six games remaining in the season.
West Ham had an appeal for a penalty ignored late on in the game after the ball struck the arm of Thiago inside the box before the Spanish midfielder cleared his lines to deny Danny Ings a sniff at goal. The home side were left convinced this incident should have resulted in a spot-kick and made their feelings on this not being awarded after the match.

Marching on the pitch to continue his complaints, Moyes headed straight for referee Chris Kavanagh to question why this decision was overlooked by the officials. The Hammers' evening was made worse by Nottingham Forest's home win over Brighton, which has lifted Steve Cooper's side out of the bottom three. West Ham now sit five points clear of the bottom three, but have a game in hand on 18th-placed Leicester City.
Asked if he was left disappointed by the penalty that never was, Moyes told BT Sport: "Hugely. It is a penalty kick." Becoming increasingly frustrated, the Scot then asked the interviewer of the incident: "Do you think that would have been given at Anfield?"
