West Ham United boss David Moyes admits he was frustrated that his side did not play at their best until after conceding against Everton against Goodison Park.
A 1-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday afternoon leaves the Hammers 18th in the Premier League table going into the international break and two points off safety, with Neal Maupay scoring the deciding goal in the game during the second half.
Maupay got his winner and the deciding goal of the game in the 53rd minute, with West Ham only coming close to scoring after that, with Michail Antonio and Tomas Soucek having half chances, substitute Said Benrahma hitting the post and fellow replacement Maxwel Cornet going close twice late on.

For Moyes, he was frustrated it took his team until the final 35 minutes to really get going against the Toffees on the way to their fifth defeat from seven Premier League games this season.
“That was the bit that really annoyed me,” Moyes told football.london. "It showed me that they had more to give but really, they stepped up a little bit after that.
“Obviously I understand Everton probably got the goal and probably felt that they needed to try and protect it. They made it look as if we were playing a bit better at that period, but I genuinely didn’t think there was an awful lot in the game.
“I didn’t think there was much between the two teams. We’ve won quite narrowly a couple of times here, today, we lost quite narrowly.”
