David Moyes gives curt Declan Rice response after West Ham goal amid Arsenal transfer link

West Ham United manager David Moyes has given a tight-lipped response over the future of captain Declan Rice amid links with a big money summer transfer exit.

The 24-year-old was making potentially his final appearance as a West Ham player at the London Stadium on Sunday as the Hammers came from behind to earn a 3-1 win over Leeds United, with Rice scoring an equaliser to cancel out Rodrigo’s volley before Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini sealed victory with second half goals.

With West Ham’s final two games of the season, against Leicester City in the Premier League and Fiorentina in the final of the Europa Conference League, both outside of east London, if he does leave this summer, the win over Leeds would have been his final game at the London Stadium as a home player.

Rice’s goal was his fifth of the season, his joint-best tally for an entire campaign as a West Ham player.
