David Moores: Liverpool FC issue tribute as former chairman dies aged 76
Liverpool FC has issued a tribute after David Moores died aged 76.

Mr Moores served as chairman of the club for 16 years from 1991 to 2007. He became an honorary life president of the club after he sold his majority stake.
Liverpool FC released a statement today to confirm he died this morning. It said: "While his uncle Sir John Moores - founder of the Littlewoods retail empire - twice served as chairman of Everton FC in the 1960s and ’70s, David was an ardent Liverpudlian.
Sister's message to brother missing at sea on his birthday
The sister of a swimmer who is missing at sea shared a touching message to mark his 24th birthday.
Megan Griffiths and her family are continuing their search for Haydn Griffiths who has been missing for over 60 hours. He was last seen at Derby Pool, in New Brighton, at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, July 19 after going swimming with a friend.
Haydn, who turned 24 today, was attempting to swim out to the wind turbines when he disappeared in the water and didn't resurface. A huge search was launched by the Coastguard and lifeboat volunteers along with police and the fire service, but was called off at around 5pm on Wednesday, July 20 after 18 hours.
'Grand Theft Auto' on city streets as bikes cause chaos
Chaotic scenes were captured on video of a chase between police and a number of people on bikes.
Officers on patrol on Childwall Road in Wavertree saw a number of bikes being ridden anti-socially and at speed just before 8.45pm. Police said the vehicles were followed by officers to the junction of Woolton Road and Queens Drive in Wavertree where they went through red lights.
In the video, which has been shared widely on social media, it begins by showing a number of people on bikes, with another person on a red moped at the traffic lights at the junction of Queens Drive and Woolton Road. A number of police cars can be seen behind the bikes before around five of them speed away down Queens Drive.
