David Hasselhoff was spotted on The Hayes in Cardiff joining a well-known local busker for a lovely rendition of a Tom Jones classic. The Hoff shared a video on social media of him joining the singer known in Cardiff as 'Delboy' for a singalong of Green, Green Grass of Home.
The actor mostly stood on the sidelines smiling and watching Delboy do his work, but joined him for a few lines of the song (which was originally sung by country artist Jonny Darrell but was made popular by Tom Jones' No. 1 hit recording).
Sharing the clip on Instagram, the Hoff wrote: "Having a great time in Cardiff. Saw this guy... The Welsh love to sing." The actor and singer has been enjoying his time in Wales over the past few days.

He shared a video of himself outside Holm House Hotel and Spa in Penarth on Monday morning, making a light-hearted pun: "It's good to be Holm." Shoppers around The Hayes spotted him at lunchtime on Monday.
The Hoff's fans were full of admiration for him sharing a song with Delboy (real name Keith "Del" Laslett). One said: "You are a legend!" and another added: "I’ve never wanted to be a little old man singing in the streets of Cardiff more…"
Married to Hayley Roberts, a Welsh model from Glynneath, the Hoff has been spotted in Cardiff with his wife on many previous occasions. In 2019, he was seen buying a suit and hat from Hatts Emporium in Cardiff Market, to wear to his wife's grandmother's birthday party.
He also made the day of his brother-in-law's colleagues when he visited them at their building site on Park Street earlier that week. Brother-in-law Jamie Roberts said Hasselhoff had a "heart of gold," and that it was a "privilege to call him my brother-in-law".
Del is a well-known figure on the streets of Cardiff. He took up busking so he would have something to do following the death of his wife, and has been entertaining shoppers in the capital for the best part of a decade and says dancing is the secret to staying lively.
