David Gray has slammed the Hearts supporter who allegedly uttered a racist remark towards the Hibernian bench during today's derby victory.
The Hibs head coach confirmed that the alleged comment was directed towards Jordan Obita, who was among the substitutes bench at the time of the game.
The incident occurred as a VAR check took place for Hibs' opening goal at Tynecastle.
"There's no place for it at all and it's been dealt with," the 36-year-old said. "The most important thing is Jordan's been on the pitch and was fantastic when he came on.
"So it's about making sure it doesn't affect people as much as we can.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's unacceptable."
On the game itself, Gray was delighted with another big three points as Hibs moved onto 21 points.
He said: "I think you see that with the scenes at the end. It's a real difficult place to come.
"History tells you that. It's been five years to the day since we've done that. That was the message to the players.
"But I think that's something that I've challenged the group a lot in the last few weeks, which is about creating our own history and changing the history as much as we can and try to build on that together.
"You've seen that today and delighted for everyone involved."
