David Dickinson returns to Loose Women after 'incident' with Coleen Nolan

ITV Loose Women welcomed David Dickinson as a guest on Thursday, it was the first time he returned to the show since an 'incident' with Coleen Nolan.

Fans were left worried last week after reports that the ITV Real Deal host was ready to leave the popular show. The reports claimed that it was an ‘open secret’ that David was ready to walk away from the show and that This Morning contributor Dan Hatfield Is being lined up to replace him.

David’s team quickly shut down the rumours, a source who is close to the antiques expert said:“David has no plans to retire from Dickinson’s Real Deal, a show he still very much enjoys making, and is hugely looking forward working on the upcoming series later this month.”

Appearing on Loose Women, David addressed the speculation himself, explaining that he and his team had 'no idea' where the story came from, as reported by Chronicle Live.

However, just before David came onto the panel, host Kaye Adams left colleague Coleen cringing as she revisited footage from his last appearance on the show.

In the snippet, David was seen with Coleen and other Loose Women stars like Christine Lampard and Stacey Solomon with her saying that she didn't want to hold' the china post he passed her, before it slipped out of her grip and fell to the ground, smashing into pieces as as a panic stricken Christine put her hands over her mouth.

Coleen shouted: "Please tell me it's a fake!!" as David replied: "It isn't fake; it's worth several hundreds of thousands of pounds," then added: "I hope ITV has got some insurance," before storming off set.

What her Loose Women panel didn’t know is the incident was planned behind the scenes with both Coleen and David. Speaking about the prank, Coleen said: “ "It was so awkward! Everyone went silent and no-one knew what to say.. but it was all fake. A little trick we played on the girls."
