David de Gea's heartwarming gesture to Manchester United fan ahead of Chelsea fixture

David de Gea has offered to provide tickets to a fan for Manchester United's upcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea.

Taking to social media, a user by the name of Aisling Gibson tweeted out to various players, including Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo, explaining how she missed the game back in February against Southampton due to tragic circumstances.

"Had flights to Manchester, hotel and match tickets sorted back in February for myself and partner for Man United vs Southampton," she tweeted. "Unfortunately, our 2-year-old daughter ended up very sick in ICU so obviously we didn't leave her. We changed the trip for the Champions League game against Atletico but sadly our beautiful girl passed away 05-03-22 so again we cancelled the trip.

"We have now rebooked flights and hotel for the weekend in May. Just wondering could anyone help us with tickets for the game against Chelsea? Please."

The Spanish goalkeeper responded, tweeting: "Just let me know how many tickets you want!"

United's clash against Chelsea is scheduled for May 15 and could go some way to deciding whether United qualify for next season's Champions League. Ralf Rangnick's side currently sit sixth in the table, four points off Arsenal in fourth spot.
