David de Gea posts hilarious Jose Mourinho gif after Casemiro sent off for Man United vs Palace

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea posted a brilliant Jose Mourinho gif after Manchester United's win over Crystal Palace.

Casemiro was shown a straight red card having grabbed Will Hughes by the throat. The incident occurred on the hour mark when players from both sides came together, with pushing and shoving leading to bookings for both Antony and Jeffrey Schlupp.

But when referee Andre Marriner was sent to the screen by VAR, the on-pitch official singled out Casemiro for violent conduct, brandishing a red card.

United were evidently bemused by the decision, with those in red surrounding Marriner and trying to find out the reason for his decision. After the final whistle, Reds keeper De Gea shared a hilarious meme on his official Twitter account.

The clip harks back to Mourinho's Chelsea days and one of his post-match interviews. The Portuguese manager was clearly frustrated with the quality of officiating but had been fined in the past for his scathing criticism, choosing this time to hint at his anger without saying anything that would get him into trouble.

De Gea has seemingly opted for a similar route and one that United fans loved on social media.

The Spaniard saw one goal go past him shortly after the incident but, along with a resolute backline, managed to keep Patrick Vieira's side from grabbing a second and taking an unlikely point.
