De Gea hits out after ‘disgraceful’ Everton defeat
United can all but kiss goodbye to their hopes of finishing in the top four this season after their defeat at Everton. Yet another dismal display saw them fall to a 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park, further denting their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Despite the two sides sitting at opposite ends of the table, United never looked likely to grab an equaliser as the issues that have plagued them throughout the season came to roost once again. Their miserable season looks set to yield very little with seven games to go.

And the frustration is clearly getting to even their most experienced players, as made evident by David de Gea’s reaction at full-time. "It is a disgrace from us, we should be winning this game," De Gea told the BBC.
Rangnick claims unwanted record
Ralf Rangnick’s interim spell in charge of United has certainly not gone to plan. Charged with securing a top-four finish before handing the reins over to his permanent successor, he looks set to fall well short.
The German has overseen United’s exits from the FA Cup and Champions League, and yet another defeat at Everton now looks to have ended their chances of finishing fourth. The experiment has certainly not worked.
And, just to pour some salt into the former RB Leipzig boss’ wounds, he claimed an unwanted record at Goodison Park.
