David Clifford has won his fitness battle and will lead the line from the start for Kerry against Mayo in the All Ireland quarter-finals against Mayo this Sunday.
The Fossa East Kerry star was an injury concern heading into this weekends tie, having missed the Munster final against Limerick Limerick with a calf issue. Clifford hasn't featured for the Kingdom since the Munster semi-final win over Cork, but Jack O'Connor confirmed this week that his star man has been training away from the panel for the past four weeks.
All in all, O'Connor has made changes to the side that dispatched Limerick convincingly a month ago, with Jack Barry, Killian Spillane and Tony Brosnan all dropping out.
