David Beckham has given fans a glimpse of his idyllic family holiday to Croatia on Instagram.
The 47-year-old shared a shirtless photo of him with his arm wrapped around his youngest son Cruz, 17, and enjoying a glass of beer in Dubrovnik, in Croatia.
Captioning the father-son shot, he wrote: “Love ya Cruzie”.
The teen appeared to be equally enamoured by the scenery as he later shared a swimsuit-clad shot of them on the back of a boat to his Instagram Story and tagged his famous dad with a love-heart emoji.
Continuing to give fans an insight into their trips, Beckham shared several photos of the Dalmatian cuisine that they were treated to at his “favourite lunch place” Bowa.
The sports star posted snaps of a fresh tomato salad, a giant red snapper, mussels, and some stuffed lobster as well as an image of a glass of red and white wine. He wrote: “Not sure what one goes first.”
After his seaside feast, the former footballer shared a sun-soaked snap with pal and performance coach Bobby Rich.
He poked fun at himself for sporting two pairs of David Beckham branded glasses at once.
Clad in a short-sleeved white shirt, he captioned the pic: “Happy Place… Not sure I’m aware I have 2 pairs of @dbeyewear on.”
Beckham’s social media posts come after it was revealed Netflix has started production on a documentary series exploring the life of football star.
The multi-episode series is set to follow Beckham from his humble beginnings in east London to his stardom on the football pitch.
It will feature a mix of never-seen-before personal archive footage from the last 40 years as well as interviews with Beckham, his family, friends and key figures who have played a part in charting his personal and professional life.
Sharing old pictures of himself on Instagram last week, Beckham said: “I’m excited to confirm that I am partnering with @Netflix on a documentary series about my life and career.”
The series will feature unseen archive, untold stories as well as interviews with the people who have been a part of his journey.
It will chart his life from childhood until the present day.
The Netflix documentary is expected to include his marriage to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, his four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven, as well as his part ownership of Inter Miami CF - the American professional soccer club.
It will aim to tell the story behind the drive and determination that led Beckham to become one of the most recognisable athletes in history.
