David Beckham jumps fence to flee fans after watching Romeo play for Brentford in rain

David Beckham was one proud dad as he watched his son Romeo Beckham play for Brentford.

The son of former Manchester United and England star David, Romeo signed a short-term loan with the Bees’ B-team last week.

The 20-year-old made his debut for the squad this week in a 3-2 win over Erith & Belvedere FC.

Romeo initially started among the substitutes before being introduced for the final 35 minutes, much to David's delight.

The 47-year-old wasn't bothered by the weather and wore a low-key raincoat and beamed with pride the entire time Romeo was on the field.

David was one of the 553 fans in attendance at Park View Road to see his second-oldest son make his debut.

At one point, he stopped to take pictures with fans while keeping an eye out on the game.

In order to avoid adoring fans, David was seen jumping a fence after the final whistle was blown.

The man close to him seemed shocked as he watched the former footballer expertly jump the fence.

Meanwhile, David would have been delighted to hear Brentford boss Neil MacFarlane praise the young midfielder.

Neil said: “Romeo really drove us forward in the wing back position.

“He created some really good moments for us with some terrific deliveries. He had an opportunity to score as well and I was thrilled with him and the group in general for keeping on the front foot. We never gave up and we got through."

After signing with Brentford for the season, Brooklyn congratulated his younger brother on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Romeo uploaded three images to his feed to celebrate his new signing.

In the main image of the post, Romeo could be seen standing with his dad, David, in front of the Brentford Football Club Robert Rowan Performance Centre.
