Dave Chappelle launched into a bizarre speech about anti-Semitism and Kanye West as he kicked off his Saturday Night Live hosting stint.
The TV comedian, 49, opened the show with a lengthy message as he declared he 'renounced anti-Semitism' before sending a message to Kanye West.
He was referencing the Bound 2 rapper's recent controversy and his vile Tweets about the Jewish community.
Throughout Dave's long-winded monologue, he named Kanye before giving him some advice about things you 'should never say'.
"I wanted to read a statement I prepared," he began. "I renounce antisemitism in all its forms and stand with my friends in the Jewish community. And that, Kanye, is how you buy yourself some time."
He added: "I’ve been doing this 35 years. Two words in English language words you should never say – ‘The’ and ‘Jews’. No one does good after they say that."
After mocking Kanye's comments, which is since apologised for after walking out of a TV interview, Dave began to skate on thin ice himself.
"I’ve been to Hollywood and this is what I saw: It’s a lot of Jews," he added. "It’s a lot. But that doesn’t mean anything.
"There’s a lot of Black people in Ferguson, Missouri, but that doesn’t mean we run the place."
In another risqué comment, he added: "If they’re Black it’s a gang. If they’re Italian it’s a mob. But if they’re Jewish it’s a coincidence and you should never speak about it.
"I know the Jewish people have been through terrible things all over the world, but you can’t blame that on Black Americans."
It comes after Dave sparked a huge backlash last year with comments in his Netflix special stand-up The Closer that some argued were transphobic.
During his show, the comedian spoke about his friendship with the late transgender comedienne Daphne Dorman – while also cracking jokes about the transgender community.
His routine sparked a furious backlash – with reports emerging that three Netflix employees were suspended from the company after they protested about his material when they stormed a meeting.
As for Kanye, earlier this month he declared he was taking part in a 'verbal fast' which will see him avoid speaking for 30 days.
Sharing his message in a Twitter statement, Ye wrote: "I’m not talking to nooobody for a month.
"I’m taking a 30 day cleanse. A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult films. No intercourse. In God we praise. Amen."
Ending his post, he confessed: "But my Twitter still lit."
