Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales was back online today, sans dawg references.
Instead, the 42-year-old took to Twitter to express some gratitude for his family’s introduction into their new home. He posted the following this morning:
Want to take a moment and thank everyone for the warm welcome for my amazing Family last week! Let’s keep workin!!! It’s going to take all of us Panther Nation, so…Every day, Every play KEEP POUNDING!#KeepPounding pic.twitter.com/QVn5tY0oMM

Conversely, Canales hopes to welcome his new players by creating a comfortable home for them.
“For me, it starts off with an environment,” he told team reporter Kristen Balboni in an interview from last week. “And I think it’s really important that all of us create an environment where the players have all of their resources at their disposal. And it truly starts there. This is of utmost importance as we assemble a staff—offensively, defensively, special teams and all the support staff that comes with it—that we have the understanding that it’s all of us focused on each individual athlete, each individual player and how to maximize their ability. Because what I want them to be able to do is come in here and rip it. I want them to be able to just show who they are, to stand for our principles.”
Oh, and in case they need an extra ball boy, the new guy’s seemingly got that covered too . . .
