For the average Steelers fan, trade rumors are like a nauseating rollercoaster you just can’t seem to get off of. It’s fun at first, like when the Brandon Aiyuk trade rumors surfaced, but after hearing them for the 100th time in a week, you’ll probably wish it was over.
The Davante Adams-to-Pittsburgh rumors seem to be following a similar trend, with a lot of ‘he said, she said’ but no real information on where the disgruntled Raiders wide receiver will end up playing.
However, Davante Adams dropped an interesting hint about where he might be headed and it does not look good Steelers fans. He posted this story to his Instagram on Friday:
Davante Adams just posted a picture of Edgar Allan Poe…
"The Baltimore Ravens are named after Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem, The Raven, which was written in Baltimore, Maryland. The name was chosen through a fan contest in which the Ravens won with 21,108 votes out of 33,288." pic.twitter.com/SwZaCmYg7b

Speculation quickly ran rampant, with Adams adding fuel to the fire, as the Baltimore Ravens were one of the reported teams the 31-year-old All-Pro receiver would want to play for.
While we might be grasping at straws, no one can deny that every move the Raiders’ superstar receiver makes will now be under a magnifying glass.
