Davante Adams made quick work of the Packers linebacker.

Davante Adams wasn’t a huge factor for the Raiders early on against the Packers, but he managed to make a big impact when his number was called late in the game.

Green Bay boldly lined up linebacker Preston Smith in a one-on-one situation against their former star wide receiver, and Jimmy Garoppolo and Adams made them pay.

Adams effortlessly disposed of Smith with a quick move off the line of scrimmage that left the 265-pound linebacker frozen in place. After catching a pass from Garoppolo, Adams was able to pick up a significant gain.

Las Vegas would go on to score a touchdown to take the lead on the same drive late in the third quarter, thanks in part to Adams’ 21-yard reception.

The Packers are likely wishing they’d opted to stick Jaire Alexander on Adams on this play after the cornerback expressed confidence he’d be able to hold his own against his former teammate. Instead, Smith was left out to dry after the star wide receiver blew past him in a split second.
