The Premier League giants will make a rare trip north of the border during their pre-season preparations.
Erik ten Hag's side will take on Lyon in a glamour friendly in Edinburgh this July.
The Red Devils will face off with the French outfit in the pre-season game on Wednesday, July 19 at Murrayfield.
Both former Man United defender Wes Brown and current Scotland rugby star Hamish Watson have been speaking to promote the event.
Scott McTominay is the only Scot in the current first-team squad at Old Trafford.
However, the midfielder's future appears to be up in the air at the minute, with Newcastle supposedly interested in making a move this summer.
United has a huge history of Scottish connections though, with legendary figures such as Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson.
