Eddie Jones will sign off from the Six Nations in Dublin after England were handed a Super Saturday finale away to Ireland.
Jones is standing down after next year’s World Cup, meaning the 2023 championship will be his eighth and final Six Nations.
He has won three so far but England have bombed in the last two, losing six of their 10 matches.
Organisers appear to have given them every opportunity to bounce back in the months before the World Cup, assigning them Twickenham games in three of the first four rounds.
That said the schedule mirrors exactly the 2021 championship which brought England’s worst ever finish, fifth place and a Triple Crown of defeats against their Home Union rivals.
England open up at home to Scotland who they have beaten only once in five games. They host Grand Slam holders France in round four.
Leicester will entertain Leinster in their Champions Cup quarter-final on Saturday May 7 with the winner playing Munster or Toulouse at home a week later for a place in the final.
Sale, the other surviving English club, travel to Paris to face Racing 92 on Sunday May 8 for the prize of a home semi-final against La Rochelle or Montpellier.
Gloucester and Saracens meet on May 6 in the Challenge Cup last-eight, with Wasps at Edinburgh a day later and London Irish saving their Sunday best for a trip to Toulon on May 8.
