Darwin Nunez shares what Liverpool squad did on Austria 'day off' in Instagram photos

Liverpool's players have enjoyed some well deserved down time over in Austria, as preparations continue ahead of the upcoming 22/23 campaign.

Currently situated in Austria following the recent pre-season tour in Australia, Jurgen Klopp seemingly gifted his players a days rest, as Darwin Nunez enjoyed some valuable bonding time with his new team-mates.

Participating in some fishing at a nearby lake, Alisson Becker, Luis Diaz, Kostas Tsimikas and Roberto Firmino could be seen in attendance, as they took to Instagram to show off some of the days best catches.

Brazilian shot-stopper Becker posted on his story, writing: ''Great view, great people, great food,'' alongside fellow members of the Reds squad. Goalkeeping coach Claudio Taffarel could also be seen getting in on the action too.

A nice gesture to see, it certainly bodes well for new addition Nunez, who opened his account with four strikes during Liverpool's most recent victory over RB Leipzig just last week. After Wednesday's friendly with Salzburg, next up is of course the tricky test of Manchester City in the Community Shield this weekend, where the 23-year-old will hope to further add to his tally.

Diaz could also be seen posing alongside his new striker partner, with a football underneath the feet of the Uruguayan, which really does go to show for footballers they're really isn't such a thing as a 'day off'.

Tsimikas also took to Instagram to probe a joke the of Becker too, posting: ''Myself with 2 giants,'' whilst posing alongside one of the groups seemingly successful catches.

Roberto Firmino has also since joined the group too, with the forward subject to some speculation regarding his future in recent weeks.
