Darwin Nunez, Harry Kane and eight other players Liverpool are 'tipped to sign' this summer

The summer transfer window is about to open and Liverpool continue to be linked with possible new signings.

Jurgen Klopp has already added a new face to his squad with the arrival of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham. The 19-year-old became Liverpool’s first signing of the summer, but there could be more through the door by the end of the summer.

A host of players have been linked with a move to Liverpool in some form. Some have been heavily linked, while others the interest is much more tentative.

DEAL LATEST: Sadio Mane key to £85m Darwin Nunez transfer as Liverpool wait on Bayern Munich move

VIEW FROM PORTUGAL: Portuguese media react to Nunez 'jackpot' as Liverpool close in

SkyBet has the latest transfer odds - accurate at the time of writing - and it makes for interesting reading. It's important, however, to take most of it with a pinch of salt. The players listed below are the names who the Reds are apparently 'most likely' to sign during the summer transfer window…

Darwin Nunez - 1/10

The player that Liverpool are the most likely to sign according to the bookies is Benfica striker Darwin Nunez. The Reds are keen on bringing the 22-year-old to Merseyside, and the feeling is mutual from the player’s perspective.

Nunez wants a move to Anfield although Liverpool are reluctant to do business at Benfica's asking price of €100million (£85.5m) and won't be drawn into a bidding war, with Manchester United in particular also interested in the player. However, those close to Benfica have indicated the Portuguese side are open to a structured deal which would see Liverpool pay an initial €80m (£68.4m) set fee with €20m (£17.1m) in add-ons.

Any transfer, though, is dependent on the Reds raising funds by moving on some of their other forwards. Sadio Mane seems likely to sign for Bayern Munich, with Liverpool holding out for a fee close to £42.75m, while Takumi Minamino is nearing an expected £17m departure with a number of clubs interested.

Jude Bellingham - 2/1

Another who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool is Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents in Europe, and the Reds are being tipped to make a move.

Bellingham has admirers within the Liverpool hierarchy, but there is recognition that a move this summer is unlikely. The sale of Erling Haaland to Manchester City means that Dortmund are unlikely to be willing to part with another of their prized assets in the same window.

Raphinha - 3/1

A player that was first linked with Liverpool last summer, Raphinha has often been credited in certain quarters as one of interest to the Reds. But those links have seemed to dry up in recent months, after the signing of Luis Diaz in January.

Despite this, the bookies think there is enough in it to have a move to Liverpool as a realistic possibility. Barcelona are the other club who have been credited with the biggest interest in the Brazilian.

Serge Gnabry - 4/1

Liverpool have only been tentatively linked with a move for Serge Gnabry, but the bookies seem to think there’s a chance it could happen. The Bayern Munich forward is under contract until next summer.

The German club are reported to be looking to agree an extension to Gnabry’s current deal, but the delay has led to doubts over his future. Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the former Arsenal player.

Jarrod Bowen - 4/1

A player who may be familiar to Liverpool fans is West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen. The Reds have been frequently linked with the 25-year-old for several months, but no move has yet to materialise.

Like with Raphinha, the signing of Diaz has led to talk of Bowen joining Liverpool quietening down somewhat. Whether the interest is concrete remains to be seen.

Harry Kane - 5/1

Now we’re getting into the more far-fetched territory with these odds. Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is the latest name on the list.

The Reds were tentatively linked with a move for the Spurs striker a couple of months ago, but there was not much in it. With Tottenham qualifying for the Champions League, combined with the club being unwilling to sell to an English rival, you’d think this one doesn’t stand much chance of happening.

Robert Lewandowski - 8/1

Another to file in the ‘unlikely to happen’ column, but one that the bookies think has a chance. Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has publicly stressed his desire to leave the club this summer, which has led to the Reds being linked.

Barcelona are the club who Lewandowski himself has named as making him an offer. Whether Liverpool have is another matter, but given the recent Nunez links you would think it’s not that likely.

Kalvin Phillips - 8/1

A player who has been recently linked with a move to Liverpool is Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips. Manchester City are the other team who have been credited with an interest.

Phillips does seem like the kind of player Liverpool would be interested in the summer, with fellow midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni a target before he seemingly agreed to join Real Madrid. Whether a move materialises for Phillips we’ll have to wait and see.

Bukayo Saka - 9/1

Bukayo Saka’s future at Arsenal seems slightly uncertain of late, which has led to Liverpool being linked with his services. Manchester City are the other team who have been credited with an interest.

The Gunners want to extend Saka’s contract, but the England international is yet to put pen to paper. While that remains the case, you suspect Liverpool’s name won’t be going away anytime soon.

Ismaila Sarr - 10/1

Another familiar name with Liverpool fans is Watford forward Ismaila Sarr. He’s been heavily linked in the past, and his name hasn’t gone away.

The Reds were first linked with him back in 2020, before Klopp opted to bring Diogo Jota to the club. Since then, the rumours have gone quiet but the bookies still think there could be a slim chance of a deal happening.
