Darwin Nunez experiences Liverpool first but nothing changes for Andy Robertson

Liverpool have got straight down to work in Thailand as they prepare for their first match of their pre-season tour against Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp's side arrived in Bangkok earlier today and got quickly down to business at their training site, Alpine Football Camp, after receiving a warm welcome from local supporters.

A busy few weeks are now in store for the Reds as they look to regain their rhythm ahead of another gruelling season.

Images have this evening emerged of the Liverpool squad being put through their paces and we have rounded up a list of three things spotted below.

First glimpse of Darwin

Darwin Nunez enjoyed his very experience of training as a Liverpool player, having not taken part in the club's most recent session at the AXA Training Centre on Thursday. The Uruguayan will likely be eager to form a greater sense of understanding with his new team-mates - and what better place to do that than in training.

The 23-year-old appears relaxed in the photos that have been published online and will soon enough feel at home as a member of the Reds' first-team squad, if that's not already the case.

Same old Robbo

Some things never change - a saying that certainly applies in the case of Andy Robertson.

The Liverpool left-back has developed somewhat of a reputation in recent years for his light-hearted sense of humour, which Trent Alexander-Arnold often finds himself on the receiving end of. Robertson was once again up to his old tricks, only this time in Thailand as he felt the effects of the humid conditions in the capital.

Instead of joining the rest of his team-mates by getting into one of the ice baths provided by the club, the Scot instead to dip his head into the water.

Youngsters mixing in

This pre-season tour will present opportunities for a number of players who have made the long-haul trip to Southeast Asia, with Isaac Mabaya, James Norris, Melkamu Frauendorf and Tom Hill among those from the Academy to be named in the 37-man squad.

Although this is likely to be a daunting experience, the youngsters looked to be feeling at home within the group. One image captured Norris, Harvey Elliott, Leighton Clarkson and Tyler Morton deep in conversation as the quartet stood in ice baths.
