Darwin Nunez lined up for Uruguay in their shock defeat to Iran on Friday in Austria as their national media question what the best system is to get the best out of the Liverpool striker.
Since his arrival from Benfica in June for an initial £64 million, Nunez has come under fire from rival fans for some wayward shooting in pre-season and training.
However, that doesn't tell the full story of Nunez's time at Liverpool so far after he changed the game against Manchester City in the Community Shield win and then scored on his Premier League debut at Fulham.

With the start of the new season proving difficult for Liverpool's new signing after being under scrutiny with his price tag and going through a three-match ban for a red card picked up against Crystal Palace, national team football can be a chance for the striker to gain some confidence and momentum.
Uruguay won't be easy opposition at the World Cup as Nunez will line up with former Liverpool star Luis Suarez in attack, but the aging Suarez may stifling his partner to a certain degree.
El Pais in Uruguay said of Nunez and Suarez: "They both felt comfortable playing together; It is highly likely that they will start the World Cup as starters, it remains to be seen with what system, because Darwin loses a certain gravitation playing on the outside.
"Today everything indicates that Uruguay's lead is with Suarez and one more: either Edinson Cavani, with whom he knows by heart, or Darwin, the great promise of offensive renewal for the post-Qatar 2022 team."
El Pais also wrote: "Luis Suarez continues adding quality minutes before the World Cup. In Vienna he returned to play 90 ', as in most of the matches with Nacional.
"He had three clear situations to score: at 37' he tried from a distance from above and touched the horizontal; at 42 'he shot across and outside and at 60' he made an individual move down the middle, in which he faked, and shot just wide. In the first two he associated well with Darwin Nunez."
Nunez has potential to be able to play wider in the attack with his pace, but that pace is also dangerous to defenders when he is running off the back of them and towards goal.
